Cowboy Saddles

Cowboy saddles were created for the real, working cowboy. You asked and we listened, with the 98 Wade, sporting a lower gullet and slightly larger cap. The Great Basin Association is a little smaller with not-so-heavy of a swell fork, while the Jordan Valley 3B Visalia slickfork has a style hailing from the Vaqueros. The Pendleton Association’s an off-shoot of the old, well-known Northwest and a favorite of swell fork loving cowboys. Uinta Ranchers have narrow seats and are a good fit for your horse, making it so any rider would want to cowboy the day away.

98 Wade

You asked for a lower gullet and slightly larger cap for closer horse contact, and we gave it to you by re-working the original Wade for a different look and function. In 1998, we introduced the revised saddle and called it the 98 Wade.

Great Basin Association

Here’s a regular Modified Association swell; the Great Basin. It’s smaller with not as heavy a swell fork as the Pendleton, keeping the laminated wood post integral hardwood horn. This one’s great for all-round use and riding all day and has that great McCall seat.

Jordan Valley 3B

This one hails from the Vaqueros of California, Oregon, Idaho and Nevada, using the traditional style tree of your choice. This 3B Visalia slickfork has the same narrow seat as the Wade, making it a favorite of both the cowboy and the trail rider. We gave this one a loop seat, outside stirrup leathers and an old-time look.

Pendleton Association

Remember the old Severe bronc saddles of the Northwest country? This is an off-shoot of those with its thick, high-rounded swell. The Modified Association tree and narrow seat make it standard for the swell fork-loving cowboy that likes to ride all day.
